Featured Recipe: Crispy Skin Sterling Salmon

Chef Alex DeBernardis is a boulder city, CO Chef with a unique passion for food. Originally from New Jersey, his journey as a chef started out at Brennan’s Delicatessen in Rumson, NJ where he experienced every aspect of the kitchen, he then went on to further master his skills at Niagara college in Welland, ON. Upon completion, he took a roll as the “garde manger” (French for “keeper of the food”) at the famous Jersey Shore David Burke Fromagerie. Having multiple opportunities to fill different positions in the kitchen has helped him become the chef he is today. Chef Alex says he loves working with Sterling Salmon because he can always rely on the great freshness and quality of the band along with the assurance that he can offer a sustainable product to his patrons.
